The majestic yet sporty Bentley Continental GT, makes its entrance in a vibrant bright blue colour scheme in sharp contrast to the gleaming silverwork, registered simply 21 WO - a tribute to Bentley founder Walter Owen (Bentley) perhaps, way back in 1919. The interior fittings and seats are all black while the exterior trim is predominantly silver, including the expansive radiator grille, silvered trim along the side skirts, detailed wheel hubs and the distinctive Bentley badge.
The Bentley Continental GT was introduced in 2003 and is still being manufactured today at Bentley’s Crewe works. Classed as a grand tourer, it was designed by Dirk van Braeckel and is available as a 2 + 2 fastback coupé or a 2 + 2 convertible. Prices start at £151,800 and £167,000 respectively. The Bentley Continental was the first released by Bentley under Volkswagen AG management after the German car company acquired it in 1998. It was also the first Bentley to be manufactured using mass production techniques, after almost a century of hand-built Bentley models. Performance-wise, you can expect 23 mpg across the board which comes down to 16-17 mpg in town from the 6.0L twin turbo-charged V12 engine.
